Solidarity and Charity Activity

Let’s show our solidarity with those affected by conflict and crisis! When there is care, there is hope.

In a world full of violent conflicts and complex challenges, dialogue and connection have never been more important. As we are trying to create a space that is safe, welcoming, and inclusive for every participant of HCIM 2026, where we can share the values of compassion, openness, and joy. What unites us is the conviction that healthcare clowning and performing living arts bring hope, resilience, and dignity to people in times of crisis. We are fully aware of those living in desperate conditions due to these conflicts around the globe.

To bring these ideas to life, the HCIM 2026 Reflection Group - which has become a source of insight, inspiration, and guidance for the healthcare clowning community - suggests to jointly conduct a solidarity activity during HCIM 2026, with the opportunity to donate for projects working on dangerous territories and helping those that are in desperate need.

Therefore, we have chosen the following projects and organisations we recommend you warmly to support. You can donate directly to them, using the links indicated and mentioning “HCIM 2026” as the motivation for your donation.

The Puppeteer from Gaza

Yousef Al Hindi is the director of "Camp Theater". He is planning to fundraise to buy a bus and create a Bus Theater that will travel and perform throughout the broken Gaza Strip.
