Sandra Zoni is a senior lecturer at La Source School of Nursing, HES-SO in Lausanne. She is currently head of the teaching and research laboratory “Child and Family Health” and the laboratory “Health Systems and Interprofessionality.”

In addition to her managerial activities, she teaches in the preparatory year for health studies, the bachelor's program, postgraduate continuing education, and, upon request, provides services in the fields of child care, family-centered care, and nursing research.

She holds a Level II diploma in general nursing and has worked mainly in acute care and outpatient units in pediatric medicine and oncology at the University Hospital of Geneva (CHUV). She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MScSI/MScN), during which she evaluated a nursing transition consultation service from pediatric to adult care for adolescents and young adults with type 1 diabetes. For several years, she worked as a specialist clinical nurse in the women's and children's department at the CHUV, where her main responsibilities included drafting and revising evidence-based care methods for children aged 0 to 18 and analyzing and managing critical and adverse events.
