Julie Desarzens

She is affiliated with the Teaching and Research Laboratory "Child and Family Health" (LER SEF). A graduate of La Source in 2005, she has worked as a nurse at the CHUV in Lausanne in various fields, starting with adult care (orthopedics, urology), then moving to pediatrics for 11 years. She later joined Unisanté, working in outpatient and emergency care. Throughout her career, she has mentored nursing students and completed several certifications, including a Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) to obtain a Bachelor’s degree. Today, she combines her teaching role with studies in educational sciences at the University of Geneva. She values the human dimension of her work, promotes pedagogical innovation, and is committed to enhancing the nursing profession. Her life philosophy: “What is meant to happen, will happen.” She moves forward with trust in the present and confidence in the future.
