For 50 years, Michael Christensen has been a performing artist, lecturer, workshop leader and innovator in integrating humor into healthcare, most notably pediatric hospitals worldwide. He is considered the Godfather of healthcare clowning. Over the years, he has received many honors including the Raoul Wallenberg Humanitarian Award and becoming a New York City Living Landmark. However, his most cherished credit is having helped Oscar the Grouch set up his bowling alley on Sesame Street.
